When you are selling or renting out a property in Lincolnshire please call us. We will arrange to visit your property at a time that is convenient to you, normally within 48 hours and carry out the commercial EPC survey, which on an a property such as a lock up shop will take approximately 60 minutes.

Our assessor local Lincolnshire Commercial EPC Assessor will visit your property and produce the certificate with 48 hours of this survey. We will then send the certificate by email to yourself . A Commercial EPC is currently valid for a period of 10 years from the issue date.

Please remember that you should organise your EPC before you market your property for sale or rental.

If you are buying a commercial property in Lincolnshire then the person selling the house must provide your solicitor with a valid commercial energy performance certificate. If you are renting then the landlord or the letting agent must show you the commercial EPC

Minimum Energy Standards Report- Lincolnshire Commercial Properties

Commercial Landlord Notice: From 1st April 2018. Private rental properties must achieve an energy efficiency rating of at least an E on their Commercial Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). The regulations will initially only apply upon the granting of a new tenancy to a new or existing tenant. From 1st April 2020 ALL private rental properties must achieve an energy efficiency rating of E or above.

If you do not make the grade then you will need to obtain a Minimum Energy Standards Report. The MEES lets you see what improvements can be made. It may be that no improvements can be made. It could be that you need us to register your property for exemption. Exemptions last for 5 years.
