EPC Suffolk

When you are selling or renting out a property in Suffolk please call us. We will arrange to visit your property at a time that is convenient to you, normally within 48 hours and carry out the EPC survey, which on an average domestic property will take 40 minutes.

Our assessor will visit your property and produce the certificate with 48 hours of this survey. We will then send the certificate by email to yourself . An EPC is currently valid for a period of 10 years from the issue date.

Please remember that you should organise your EPC before you market your property for sale or rental.

If you are buying a property in Suffolk then the person selling the house must provide your solicitor with a valid energy performance certificate. If you are renting then the landlord or the letting agent must show you the EPC

Landlord Notice: From 1st April 2018. Private rental properties must achieve an energy efficiency rating of at least an E on their Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). The regulations will initially only apply upon the granting of a new tenancy to a new or existing tenant. From 1st April 2020 ALL private rental properties must achieve an energy efficiency rating of E or above.
